Jesus called these two men to fill two of the most important roles in history, and yet history records almost nothing of their accomplishments. From an earthly point of view, this might be viewed as a failure, but they will forever be remembered in a place of honor. Ultimately, what’s most important is not how history remembers us; it is how eternity remembers us.
