In James 1, James writes about facing trials and dealing with temptation in our lives. Such tests of faith are not an optional part of the Christian life. One thing I can safely say about every single member of the Son-Rise family is that you are either just coming out of a trial, are in the middle of a trial, or are about to head into one.
Both trials and temptations present challenges to us spiritually, but they are not the same. If we want to follow Jesus, we need to understand the differences between them, and respond accordingly. This week you learn why God allows such trials in our lives, learn to spot the difference between trials and temptations, and what the appropriate response is to each.
