Bethlehem is the little town with a big history. This little town played a role in the life of the patriarchs. It was here that Ruth met Boaz and forever changed the royal line. It was here that David grew up, watched sheep and anointed by Samuel as the next king of Israel. The prophet Micah prophesied the Messiah would come from here. That most momentous of events has happened, but hardly anyone has taken notice. Amidst the hustle and bustle and demands of daily life, the greatest miracle of God has happened right under their noses, but the people of Bethlehem have no idea.
