When we go a trip we hope to complete the journey without delay or detour. We want the flight to depart and leave on time. We don’t want to run into any road construction. Most of all, we hope to avoid any breakdowns along the way.
When we follow Jesus, though, we will experience both joyous victories and times when we stumble and fall. There will be disappointment and rejection as well overcoming and those who receive the good news with gladness.
This Sunday we will consider how we respond to failure in the journey and move on to success.
