Shepherds watching their flocks by night and a baby born in a manger. That’s the Christmas story we hear every year, but did you know the Bible contains another account of the birth of Christ. This account is no silent night but rather all out war as a fierce dragon tries to devour the baby as soon as he’s born. Unsuccessful, he launches an assault against the host of heaven. Thrown down in defeat, the dragon has now turned his attack against another target of opportunity. This sermon looks at Jesus’ birth from the perspective of the spiritual realm as recorded in Revelation 12.
